tablet pc's, what do you think?
what are youse guys opinions on tablet pc's. im looking to get one, but still dont know if its worth it (for school purposes)

we've had several at work. Keep in mind the ibm X40 ones use a 1.8" drive which is incredibly slow. As well like the others have said its high maintenance and more of a marketing scam.
you can probably type a hell of a lot faster than you can write. As well its a lot clearer to read later hehe

sweet. thanks for the help guys. i just bought a normal laptop because i got a good deal, but i am wondering whether i made the right decision; but i'm reassured now.

they have this gateway one at best buy that is pretty sweet looks like its pretty fast and wont' give a lot of problems i like tablet's but i'd probably wait till they go cheaper to get one... just becuase i'd probably just use it to take the notes then send ti to my regualr pc.
