no start problem

ok, well I don't have a stang, but I have something silimular so hopefully someone can help. Ok, so this is how it went, my battery died and I replaced it, once I replaced that, my alternator starting crapping out on me, so I also replaced that, upon finishing my work, the car did not want to start any more, I checked for spark, and I have spark, my timing is also correct. So the only thing left is fuel, I hear the fuel pump come on (it makes some weird noises as in the buzzes the first 2-3 seconds then hums constantly), and fuel goes straight to the rail, but no fuel is entering the engine? I tried pulling the codes but the computer was reset so its not throwing any at me. So im basically stumped on to what could be the problem the car is a 1990 Thunderbird 3.8 n/a.
