I've been a member here for a while.. I dont post much, but still.....

is it not on the search engines?

what steps are being taken to garner MORE attention to the site?

It's still a fairly new site, but we have kind of an alliance canadiancaraudio.com ....and of course word of mouth.

I don't know about that... I joined here same time as I joined another WELL known Mustang site... but there seems to be no draw for folks to come here..

I know it is "new" but there's nothing to draw the new people in...

There are a couple things that make a successful website.

Stangfan is new, about a year old.
From what ive seen in the back end work ive done here, there are NO fake statistics or fake users. The timeout is also stock. All these things mentioned can make for a community that looks ultra busy but is not when tampered or played with.

1, the people who own this site and helped build it own mustangs. This is a good sign.

2, the site is new and is growing and so far, quality users, not people here to play in an arcade. Theres hundreds of arcades online, why do you need one on a mustang forum?

The site is already picking up and doing better and im trying to help promote it on some of the sites i run myself. I prefer Stangfan over any of the local to Toronto alternatives.

What do you suggest should be done to draw people in ? Maybe suggest it to the owners of the site.

I think it's mostly because there are so many sites around and Stangfan sounds like "just another Mustang site". I'm on a few others, and the reason I'm there is because they're Canadian and more local than say.....corral? It just seems to me that the sites are pretty similar and there needs to be a defining part about them. There is a site I belong to which has a forum where "anything goes" that's nice, also, it seems that classifieds draw in a lot of people as there's always something to upgrade or something to sell, so a big member base helps with that. I joined this site because I saw a link on another site in 2tone_93gt's sig. that read "a Mustang site, not like the others" or something like that.
