2003 Cobra
I know this is an F-Body site, but I want ya'lls opinions on the 2003 Cobras. I would GLADLY hand over the keys to the Trans Am for one of those on any day. They're wonderful I think. What about all of ya'll?

I'm very impressed with them, 390hp and with the roots style supercharger you get the power at any RPM plus you can make more horsepower cheaply. I'd love to have one, maybe not over your TA but they're still really nice cars.

if you traded your t/a and were givin 5 grand cash extra, (which would never happen i know) but to make a point, if you did that i would find u wherever you are so i could kick you in the A S S.lol j/k but seriously, your T/A is so much better than a cobra IMO. i dont mean its faster or ne thing but hey f-body... or FORD!?lol

I am just not that impressed with how they made the Cobras look during the 99-04 years....but for some reason, I really like the way the 96-98 Cobras looked. Give me that body style with the 03 Cobra engine (or perhaps the 00 Cobra R engine.....), and I'd use it as a daily driver, saving the Camaro for the weekends.

As some of you know, my mom has a 2003 Cobra... and while it is nice and fast... A heads/cam LS1 with a 75 shot will eat them up all day long(even after mods) Plus to do a "Cam" job on an LS1 $400 or so... Cobra $2000 or more... mods are TOO expensive for a 4V DOHC motor...
Not to mention, my mom is talking about getting rid of it... I'm sliding in the constant mind manipulation trying to get her to get an '02 SS convertable... so far no luck, but she will turn sooner or later!

sorry guys, but i'm gonna hafta disagree with alot of these post, a black cobra looks, IMHO, 10x better than a t/a and camaro, and to cam and LS1 (not by yourself) is well over 800 dollars (install, cam, springs, rods, tuning software, tuning, etc.), where-as you can simply throw on some pulleys for the supercharger and have that ***** quite a bit over 400 at the wheels. I can understand what ya'll are saying, but **** I would love to have one.
