5 cents to miss 2nd
thats what it took last night. one run i missed 2nd hard. it wouldnt go in until i YANKED the shifter down. well today i took it apart and took a look. i keep change in my ashtray and i guess some change fell into the shifter. take a look at that f-ed up nickel. lol.

Haha, at least it's an easy fix.
Ever since I stopped DD my Camaro I no longer keep any change in it but when I did it was always falling down in the center console. I just didn't have the bad luck you did with it I guess.

i dont consider it bad luck. at first i thought it was the stop screw that backed out or something, then after it happened more and more i started to fear the internal linkage. this is a relief.

lol. i actually have my ash tray in the center console wedge between some other stuff real tightly so my change stays in there and its quiet, otherwise in the stock location under the little flip panel, it rattles like crazy and ya usually falls down there, but Caleb dont you have the big stock rubber boot to go over that not just around the bottom?

its there. the base of the pro 5.0 is huge. the instructions say to do it like that. so its more to seal it from the outside, not so much to seal the top of the shifter.
