bout damn time
since the day i bought my car i suspected my trans mount to be broken. recently when i get on it my shifter raises an inch or two. so i started to really suspect it, yet everyone says it will clunk when its broken. so ive never done it.
finally i had another tech drive it...he confirmed my suspicion. so i got an energy suspension polyurethane trans mount at...you guess it...the 'zone for only 21 bucks. score. i was also going to get some poly motor mounts, but for some reason they only stock the right side...

ya when the shifter moves that much, its pretty much a given.lol.
and wait till you do LTs to do the motor mounts. the left side(i think) needs to be bolted together with the factory clamshell and then bolted in, then the other side just bolts right onto the k member. pretty simple, but its worth the wait if your installing LT's youll have to lift the engine anyways.

All you would have to have done is say what is what it was doin, I would have told you tranny mount from 3000 miles away..
And its nice that 'zone has them in stock for so cheap too..

i think the bad trans mount is also why my pinion seal and tailshaft seals are leaking. i guess the trans moving changes the driveshaft angles and really stretches those seals.
