I have a friend that has a stock 01 C5 Vette 6spd, He told me any vette will handle any maro even with the mods Im holding right now. I beg to differ I told him I would woop his @ss. I lost to a stock z06 at the drags by about half a car lenght (i blame it on my 3rd gear sychos) and thats a z06. The guy doesnt know **** about his car he thinks just cause he has a stock vette hes unbeatable. HA, cant wait to get my car back from the shop. What do you all think?

man i own a stock 97 c5.... in my opinion i think you got him without a problem... dont worry.... if you ran with a Z06 you shouldnt have a problem beating him
