Car wheels
#16
Okay just re-read the howstuffworks article(had been awhile and left me with a question or two which might help me clear things up)
Open Slip differential to me sounded like both tires spun until one slipped or lost traction then the one with traction no longer turned and the one witout traction just kept spinning till you let off. This is countrary to what I had thought or prevoiusly thought of how an open worked if this is true. I oringally thought open slip was only a single tire spinning thus the name one-wheeler-peeler unless i am missing something.
LSD- When one tire starts to slip the power is added to the non slipping tire meaning that tire is now going to spin quicker till the spinning tire gains tractoin again.
Correct me or add anything you think I might be missing in this short little paragraph.
