I know, first gen camaro prices are getting outrageous, and I think we have all heard about the Hemi Cuda convertible in the 7 figures.
I want a 67/68 firebird, and what I love is those aren't nearly the price of the first gen Camaros. So i may get one sooner than later. There was a nice red one for sale here this summer, but 1.) I don't like red and I would have wanted to get it repainted, which meant more $$$$, I could have lived with it red for a while though, and 2.) I was saving for a house at the time.

I know.. I have seeen some ridiculous prices, as I am kind of looking right now, as I hop to have an adiition to the "family" in 3yrs or less, depending....
What really irritates me is a friend of mine at work, who didn't know I loved the old firebirds, sold his 67?68? (can't remember) for $500. Only needed interior work and paint, body work was done. I so could have bought that at the time. He let it go for that ptice because the firebirds just aren't as popular, and it was hard to sell, and his father was in the hospital and he needed the cash and room, and he just didn't have the time anymore. I always miss the deals by so little, it drives me nuts.
