This is true. Even if you have the codes removed and the computer tuned, you'll still throw some codes you cant avoid. Only way to get a really beefed up car these days thats going to pass strict obdII regs is to have a 95 or younger car where obd doesnt apply in state insp. (depending on the state)

Well paar, thats a good idea but im worried about an o2 sim. Not all of them always work. Ive got people in my club with them that still speratically throw codes for it.

No emiss standard, but it does have to be obdII tested during an inspection, so I have to hook it up to the machine and it scans for codes. If the codes are present or ive recently cleared them (readiness codes status) then it wont pass.
