phatgreatwall has a little shameless behaviour in the past
i used president's choice auto insurance, my camaro is co-owned by my mom and me, and she single insured her ford, im the 2nd driver only for the camaro and it's 150/month for me, my insurance agent told me that if u have like a london or some suburb address, it'll be much cheaper than toronto, so if u have like a relative in for example, hamilton, which is where i am, ur insurance isnt gonna be that expensive, remember, in 20, single, make, not married, driving a 2 door sports car, and it's only 150 for me, so it's very cheap, try it out, hope they can offer u a good price.

As for cheap car insurance, no such thing when youre 17. You can try to go under your parents, dont buy a civic, they arent cheap to insure.
