even if the tag is higher you're getting a lot better car and a lot more respect. sorry but all the stang owners over here are stupid *** rednecks.

so far the only new mustangs I've liked are ones that have something done to them.. the cobra with the stripes or the saleen one. the gts and the v6 are just way way too bland.

Yes, it is a better overall package, but the majority of people that own a mustang or camaro can't afford a 70K vehicle, let alone afford insurance or mods for it. As far as respect goes, I earn my respect, not buy it. Rednecks are everywhere, and drive everything from ratted out trans ams with trailer hitches, to pick-up trucks, and beat *ss mustangs. It's just not fair to stereotype like that. I am open-minded enough to accept all cars and their owners, not just shut out the competition, which makes this "sport" if you will great. It's like the muscle car wars all over again, and personally I think it is better than the first time around, and can only hope that GM comes out with some iron to make it more fun.

Personally I like the 04 cobras exterior, but the interior is not practical.

I love the new mustang's interior.

well you're welcome to hangout with our car club anytime. anything goes, as long as the people are cool, we don't care. I guess i've just never met a group of people that you're talking about, because i can't comprehend, although I have met several ricers that were very closed minded.

I guess it's like the vette or ZR1 in your eyes. I think part of the reason I'm so accepting of it is because i'm a mustang guy, just like you guys have a tendency to have more of an appriciation for GM products. I guess I was just more excited about it than you. It's like my opinion of the new GTO. No styling, Awesome powerplant, and good design egronomically. I think that the GTO would just hold up better in a Camaro forum than a mustang forum, and visa versa. But, I do agree on some points, about the looks. It is a little bland........yea, thats about it. lol
