Grab the teg, nicer than a civic. but if u wanna move quickly, the civic chassis is obviously lighter. and scrap the b16 (if u wanna move quick) 2.0 or more, even 1.8's dont cut it anymore.

If you want reliable get a civic or an integra, personally I'd get an integra cause they look nicer and are a more sportier model. BUT if want something with torque get a golf or a jetta(especially diesel versions), the only problem with VW's is that their parts are expensive and I've heard rumors that they have electrical problems after a few years. It's probably just a rumor and doesn't happen all the time.

^^ya....to the scrapyard.

tegs and civics are cheaper in parts and much eaiser to source out.
My friend went from a 90 civic to a 92 golf GTI and it's suckin' his bank account dry.

Get the HONDA. Cheap and reliable = good car. Not to mention I love the look of a nice clean hatch

i'd tell u get the 92+ civic dependin on how much money u have to spend cuz that B16 isnt cuttin it anymore, i had one and it never gave me any problems jus give it a tune up every now and then...but now i have a 91 teg pretty reliable but no where near my civic but i kno for a fact a VW would have taken me alive the teg's are a lil bit easier to work with when doin engine swaps since they're already DOHC and like civics u can always find parts and info on them...but really do wat u want not wat ppl tell u

The Jettas are very roomy and quite reliable. Also stronger in case you get in an accident or something like that.

voltar will become famous soon enough
Bah dont listen to the honda humpers, for sure VW, handles better, more reliable motors, better in a crash, looks better... its just better

As for Golf Vs. Jetta same car except for the trunk, i believe jettas weigh ~200 lbs. more then golfs because of the trunk, so its a little slower.
