Commuter car

Hey guys im gonna be commuting to Centennial college in the fall and im wondering what your recommendations are for a good communting car, i would like to find a car thats cheap maintenance, cheap on insurance and good on gas because im commuting about 100 km a day

honda civics are expensive on insurance but preludes are more reasonable and so are accords

maybe 90's pick up ( s10 or dakota) type with a v6 even a reg cab short box ram with the 5 speed and v6 aint to bad on gas and they take a kicking

Are they reliable, cheap insurance and gas, my main concern is gas and insurance because gas im gonna be filling up every week and i dont wanna be paying alot

you don't want to buy a truck. even with a v6 instead of a v8. it's still going to guzzle.

i would say buy a cavalier (since its cheap on gas and insurance) but I really can't recommend a piece of like that.

honestly, buy a civic. its the best balance.

and if you don't care looking like a douche bag, buy a toyota corolla.

Yeah toyota corollas are strong cars, great engine and awesome gas milage. But their styling sucks.

I would suggest seeing if you can take public transportation to school, might be cheaper, and less stressfull then commuting in rush hour.

Nah man i like driving im probably gonna end up buying a 91 civic or maybe a newer corolla
