grant when u say the timing was off a bit..what do u mean? The opti wasn't installed correctly or timing chain slipping what? And what year is ur car?

opti wasnt installed right. Had nothing to do with the chain. It's a 96ish.

Its all going great sweety, just slowly is all! She bee 100% in no time, I'm sure of it! At least she is home now and we can go take new pictures!!!!

Well she's home. I'm broke and will just get broker (is that even a word?) because it looks like the water pump does need replaceing soon after all and the new alternator i bought - POS. So it's going to be a while beforei feel better. The good news is - Epic sounds mean as ****! I can't imagine how much better the cut-outs will make her sound. Real muscle carish now. So aside from all the bad stuff - the rest is good.

Yah, the pics would have been doen today but the weather was ******. We'll shoot for next Saturday for the good pics. And the other good thing - i found a GREAT deal on a water pump - if my paycheck on monday has it's insintive i might just go get that taken care of.

i got a rebuilt water pump from autozone for 50 bucks i think. worked great and got me back on the road quickly.
