i always thought it was that good to have disks in the back because when it locks up the back wont be able to slide,

do you know anything about jsut upgrading from standard disc brakes to larger ones ? starting with picking them out. do you jsut need to find one that fits your car and will aftermarket wheels be a problem?

i just came across this and no one had answered you so i figured iw ould..

you need to find a setup that will fit your car.. there are several made but plan on spending big $$$ like 3k.. other than that you can upgrade the front if you have a v6 to some 98+ls1 rotors im pretty sure they are larger than the stock v6 ones or you can upgrade to c5 or possibly even c6 brakes now.. they make kits everywhere to do it look em up..

and you usually have to have at least 17" wheels or larger to clear the larger brake setup depending on which on e you get
