Anyone know of anything decent to paint rotor hats?

archemedes 05-07-2005 12:29 PM

just about any spray paint will work those don't get that hot, if worried use a high temp paint any I've done I did with regular automotive paint

Spray is kind of a *****, being that I don't want to get any on the stopping surface...

use newspaper to mask it off

you dont think it would be easier to just make a few quick brush strokes?

What color are you looking for?

if you want it to look like **** brushes are for wood

meissen 05-07-2005 09:55 PM

the duplicoat caliper paint uses a brush and it came out fine. get black caliper paint (or whatever color you're looking for) and you can paint the hats...

archemedes 05-07-2005 10:20 PM

but the hats are smoother than the caliper so brush strokes would show more

meissen 05-07-2005 10:34 PM

i suppose, this caliper paint didn't show strokes at all.
