I got the kit for a little under $20... I think it was like $16.99

archemedes 05-08-2005 11:39 PM

then there are a ton of morons on ebay at least 5 had it listed at $20

meissen 05-09-2005 07:05 AM

Yeah, people on ebay sell car parts for higher than they're really worth... atleast that's what I've noticed lately. Anything automotive is real hot on there.

camaro94 05-09-2005 12:55 PM

yeah, on eBay I've noticed that alot of stuff that is considered a hot item is selling for way more than it should. For example I saw a pair of kids Star Wars athletic shoes on there for $29.99 + S/H, when Wal-Mart sells the exact pair for a little less than $15....

Is it just me or does the silver paint not look like silver but more of a cream?

2Poor4Z 05-20-2005 06:40 PM

best thing i have found.. and i have never used that stuff.. is just High Temp Engine Paint/Enamel from Auto Zone or some auto parts store. its a spray so it gets in all the holes and goes on even. took me a while and had some drying time. but it was worth it. cleaned the calipers and washed them (on the car) then sprayed 3 coats of electric blue and 2 coats of high gloss clear. then added the camaro letters

Looks great man, but I wonder how long it will last with no primer.

should last no problem primer is supposed to promote adhesion, which the metal is porous enough to hold
