Yep the same goes for O'Reillys. I was kind of worried about the red kit coming out to dark once it dried but it seems to have turned out nice. I know the yellow kit isn't worth two fifths of a squirrl fart, the paint dries a very dull yellow.

I always use High Temp Engine paint, with the same brand Hi-Temp clear for a sheen coat. No problems in 2 years, on any of the calipers I've done. It's cheaper, (around here anyway) just as durable, and you have alot more colors to choose from.

I never need alot of coats either; just 2 or 3 coats for the base color, and 2 for the clear. The paint is perfect for projects like this.

I normally buy 1 can of color, and one can of clear. (per set)

Awesome!! What exactly did you do? Clean? How did you prep before spraying?

Odds are he just used sand paper and a butt load of brake cleaner.

I think I am going to try the silver. I plan on putting silver SS stripes on later this year and think that it would look better than the other colors. I get my new Cross drilled and Sloted rotors next week and plan on installing them next weekend. They should look really sweet with the calipers painted. I'll post some pics when I get done.
