The granitelli ones are usually a little bigger on the inside diameter, but they don't give you the increase that they claim.

As far as the MAF sensors go, mine is descreened and devaned. I haven't noticed any problems going that route either..

Not sure, but I did it when the car was mostly stock and didn't notice any gains or issues with running.

But now I can do just about anything I want to it and just fix it with my laptop-

descreening the MAF is a worthless mod. you wont get any horsepower increase. anything you feel is in your head. its actually a better idea to keep it. its not there to protect the wires its there to smooth out airflow for a more accurate reading.

yeah i descreened and ported my MAF on my LT1 but i didnt get anything out of it. IMO MAF and TB are not worth modding until youre deep into the motor.

true...it was just one of those hmm free mods things...but hey if it were up to me, id put the screen back in, yea and this topic is so old...

I know the free mods are really worthless, but I did them anyways...next one is the TB bypass. why, just because I can. and I agree, i did not notice any increase in performance.
