GM Goodwrench tools?

Are they any good? I'm thinking of about asking for an 80pc set for my B-Day.

I've always loved my Craftsman and I've never had a problem with ANY of them but if I did I can just take it back and get a new one without any problems.

Plus get something larger than an 80pc set, that'll really limit what you can do.

x2, if you break any thing from craftsman you can bring it right back for a brand new one. and you should really see if you can get a realy big set and just go all out. that would be a lot easier and probably smarter.

Goodwrench also come with a life time warranty, I looked for bigger set but the biggest they have is an 80 piece set.

Snap On doesn't have the warrently Craftsman does but it's one of the highest quality tool out there. Two of my uncle's are mechanics and one own's his own shop and they both use Snap On.
I have a pretty large collectiong myself. Best thing I ever did was buy my roll away tool box set along with my air compressor.

most tools now (except for the really cheap ones) come with a lifetime warranty. The only difference with Craftsmen's warranty is that it is an unconditional warranty. Which means if you use a wrench as a hammer and break it, they'll give you a new one. Whereas with the other brands you only get a new one if the tool breaks while you were using it properly.

Whis is why Ryan only will get Craftsmen.
