I saw the GTO hands down. Yes the Stang may look better but in performance wise the GTO wins it and thats what a V8 Muscle car is all about to me. Besdies next year these dam mustangs will be all over the place I already see them all the time.

i sat in one at the last auto show. very very comfortable. and i could only imagine how fast they feel. and the new stang...look at the numbers man...
the "saleen" is like 20 more hp and 25 more tq or somehting like that. pathetic

But you guys know me - I love the look and more importantly the potental of the new stangs. I could make one look really killer with some time and money. The GTO, well same there but not so much. That appearance package - lose that ricer rear bumper cover and you got a good looking goat.
but i'm all about performance over looks...i mean...

I don't like the GTOs... I mean you want to talk about similar with the 98+ F-body to a Concorde, the GTO has like 4 twins up front, it's only until you see it from the side or the back that you can even tell what it is.. atleast in my opinion. The Mustang has grown on me the more I see them, living in Detroit area that's like twice a day, I still can't stand the front bumper's profile view, but overall it looks really good. Yeah the GTO has mega performance, but how many times can you actually put it to use? Aside from on the track, there's no legal use for all that performance. Looks? Looks can be appreciated no matter where you are.
