I like the gto's but from the factory they look really dull if i was to buy one id have to but thousands of dollars into just in apperance mods for it to win me over.

Meh...id take a stock LS1 SS over either of them. Pontiac and ford...no thanks. But out of the 2, id easily take a GTO over the new stang gt any day.

i like the new GTO but needs that apperance package, the new mustang i still looks good even tho its a ford and yes, i would take an SS over either too.lol and yea nice name Mcgruff.lol

Well think of it this way, They are MUSCLE CARS, which have th real MUSCLE in it, GTO of course.

The GTO has one of the nicest GM interiors made.

I would've gotten one if they didn't mark them up when I went down there again. It feels pretty fast in the 6 speed. Very disappointing part of the GTO is cargo space. The trunk looks like this:

I wouldn't choose the mustang, because I'm not a fan of the retro styling.

If you want a car for speed, then get the 03-05 Mustang Cobra's.

I voted Mustang.....but that was before the pic of that GTO was posted....I like that one a lot.

I'll stick with my Camaro though.

I would get the Mustang. The GTO looks way too much like a grand am... it's too bland. The Mustang GT's are decently fast. I've seen one really sweet one in town and stock they look pretty good too.
