I added it up once for my '94. Once I hit the $10,000.00 mark I stopped counting.

It'd be hard for me to add everything up for my current car since there's parts off my '94 in it. (Seats, headunit, Trans Am door panels, etc...)

yeah i think over 1000 is a lot that i have put into my car... but some people spend more than that on rims alone. i was just suprised b/c most of my stuff was under 100 dollars.

Eh. If I could do it all at one time I could do it alot cheaper.

You should probally tack on another $1000 at least to that. I have rebuilt the motor twice now, and theres a ton of little things you replace when you do that.

Not to mention that all this is labor free pricing. Because I installed it all myself.

Yes it was worth it, until you start thinking of what you could have used the money for instead.
But if I didn't think it was worth it I wouldn't be doing it all over again with my LS1.

yeah i wish i planned out my car better. the only thing that i payed labor for was when i had new brakes and hood latch put on for 200 right after i got my car. damn i wish i did it myself

since i plan on keeping my car forever and not trying to make money off of it or anything although i easily could with a new paint job and a new top... but yeah i got big plans that involve keeping the 305 for like 5 more years haha. ill live with it. you all just wait. in like 6 years my car will be faster and better looking than all of yours. probly not but thats what im hoping for

so far i've only spent about $575 on SFC, relocation brackets, panhard, berger, badging, and freedom spoiler.

Bought the Z26 for 2000... have almost 9000 in it now. Bought the Z28 for 2800, have about 8000 in it now, with another 5000+ to go.

Damn this is an expensive hobby.

If you want it better looking than all of ours your going to have to convert yours into a hardtop ;) haha

Yeah it is an expensive hobby... sometimes Im really hesitant about putting all this money down, but I know it makes me happy in the end. My favorite hobby, so its going to a good cuase.

i havent put much money in my car at all it sucks, i was planning on putting alot into it then i bought the bike and that kinda destroyed those plans lol thats 8500 that could be in my car

Too much lol. I have started to add it up a couple times but just thinking of the paint, wheels and transmission is enough to make me stop since it's already up too high imo. Doesn't stop me from spending more though.. heck I am still on my second and third cars so I get my enjoyment out of what I put in

put about $3-4K in it so far.

Spending another $5K at least this year with the engine.
