ya you're right, not everyone wants to have righ wheel drive... it's all about having the front end plow on you

and not only are 90% of the track cars in most series RWD, ALL true sports cars are RWD or AWD.

I'm not trying to make u change your mind, but good lord to choose FWD over RWD/AWD u'd have to be a

I dunno, with 280 hp and FWD you'd have slight traction issues in a straight line, I wouldn't even think of putting that thing around a corner.

But curiosity strikes me here, where did you get 2200 lbs? I was under the impression they're about 2800 lbs stock. That's a lot of weight savings :P

you're absolutely right. they're around 2700lbs stock. i think 500 can be lost (or close enough) fairly easily and the car still be driveable...

as for traction, we're not talking about insane torque here and even the hp numbers come up later...

also, come to think of it, a 330ci is a pretty good idea too. i absolutely love those cars

It's not worth the money? Well, a lot of people seem to think that it is, and i don't really want to bench/magazine race.. but just about every magazine out there rates the 3 series as the benchmark in 4 door small cars... and that it's the best car u can buy in it's class (yes, better then the G35 they say) even tho it costs more.

And personally I think so as well... I've had the chance to drive my buddies G35 coupe for a while... 6 spd, brembo's, 18's, etc... didn't like the way it drove. It was a nice car styling wise, but it had quite a few problems with in a very short period of time.

Although I'd like to hear why you think the G35 is better then the 330? Please don't mention the price difference, that shouldn't be an issue since we all know Euro cars are more then others even if you think it's not worth it.

i'm not a big fan of the 35th anniversary edition, it's essentially the track pack 350z (what i have) but with a leather interior, but in order for them to put in that leather interior, they got rid of the rays engineering rims and replaced them with some no name 18's. everyone knows that rays rims are probably 10x better than regular aluminum rims, so i think the trade off isn't worth it ... as for engine work, a +13 hp improvement is nothing significant, all they did was some minor cam adjustments or something and rebadge it as a "35th anniversary" edition

lol so let me get this straight. you would buy a brand new rsx, because you "like fwd", and now youre saying you would gut it and do some significant weight savings...? i dont get it!? the point of having 60k is so you can stop being a cheap in ricer that needs to cut everything out his 200hp car to stay quick, and buy a proper in car right out of the dealer, enjoying all the comforts of a daily driver, like an interior, heating, and still be fast enough to put a smile on your face.
is that how you would use the 60k? lol!
wow, in ricers, even if theyre given a lump sum of cash, they still in pick rice over a proper in car, and think about doing it up.. :supergay:

C6 coupe is over 60CAN

So i'd do a blown S2000. Or a 350Z vert. But the Z isn't as sporty as the S2000.

i know, i love those rays rims :thumbsup but i really like the 35th AE rims too, even if they are no name. i think they match the styling of the car, and i like them enough that i wouldnt mind the trade off for leather, navigation, and all the small little extras with the 35th anniversary edition (over the track). plus i think it looks so nice in yellow which is only available on hte 35th AE.
