K&N Filter & Cold Air Intake Kit

I ordered the 3 piece K&N air filter and intake kit off of ebay and finally got it installed. Quite easy to install and it gives the car a better sound when accelerating. Well worth the money. Only thing was that the two holes in the tubing which are for the sensor and that other piece that hooks up to the engine (forget what it's called) doesn't seem to have had a tight 'sealed' fit so I taped it up a bit to seal it off. Does anyone know if it's a huge problem if these two pieces are not 100% sealed to the intake and the engine?

Before & after picture.

Any noticeable difference in performance, or gas mileage? I was looking at those, and wasn't sure if they worked as well as the K&N...

This IS the K&N kit. I can feel a slight difference in performance and I haven't yet had to fill up with gas since I got it installed so I can't come to any conclusions on gas mileage yet.

Nah. Thats not the K&N kit, it may have the K&N Filter, but it isnt the FIPK.

Well I dunno about any engine mods as of now but I'm looking into getting a new set of rims and tinting the windows right now.

When I had my 3.4 Camaro I put the SLP intake on it. I really could tell if there was any difference in power or MPG because the gains are so small but it does make an improvment in looks, sounds, and MPG none the less and if you want to do anything else to the car powerwise you need to have a good intake.
