LPE Cold Air Intake.
Price $175 Shipped.
For the money the CAI is hard to beat. Like most it does take some force to get it to line up and everything to connect. The only con about the intake that I have seen so far is that if your not careful the air pump hose may slide off the intake. Yes, CAI's do create a small whistle noise but if you can hear the whistle noise over your exhaust clearly at idle then the air pump hose fell off or you have a leak. I made a WOT pass on a back road and the whistle was unbearably load to the point where it covered up the exhaust. I stopped by work and popped the hood and sure enough the hose fell off. Other then that one little problem I have encountered I have had no other problems with the intake. The engine does have a little more power and throttle response has increased. Unless you want to have a metal intake like an AS&M or an SLP intake then I recommend LPE over the rest.
Here are some pics from the install.
Remove the old intake.
Drool over the massive air filter.
Sneak up through the trap door.
Drill and mount the plate.
Hook everything back up.
And keep an eye on this little hose.
