MAF ? air intake
I was just wondering if you get an aftermarket intake how does the Mass Air Flow sensor hook back up? All intake kits i have looked at say nothing about the sensor.

what if you took the old intake off put a new one on without a MAF sensor and then it said check engine soon so you put the old one back on and it still sais check engine soon. what can be wrong

are you talking about an actual intake, or an 'air intake?' They are two completely different things.
You actual intake probably has a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor on it. MAF sensors usually install before the throttle body and although the car may run without one, it won't run well at all. It will usually trip the light and hopefully go into a 'limp home' mode which is preprogrammed into the computer that allows the engine to run but without use of the sensors.
