While the Foxbody will be lighter the engine in 1994 was still the 5.0 which just isn't fast. If you want to make the foxbody fast put an LS1 or the lastest Cobra engine in there and you'll blow everyone away.

Trust me, I saw a foxbody with an LS6 and he blew the doors off everyone.

Yea make the fox body the race car, it will be lighter and yea you should change the engine unless you want to dump a *** load of money into that 5.0, i had to think about that for alittle bit i forgot 94 was the last year for the 5.0 i kept thinkin 93 was when i was reading this, i guess cuz of the body change

'94 was the first year of the new bodystyle but '95 was the last year for the 302

It's not hard to make a 5.0L fast. A few modifications can really open up the potential of those engines. Make sure you've done rear gears, though.

5.0 not fast? You can make them fast as hell. I guess you guys never saw my dads 91 Mustang 5.0 with 480rwhp. :P (btw if you want to see it, let me know)

yea, but he was plannin on spending all that money on the camaro, because twin turbos and stuff like that isnt cheap, then he could use some of that to make the mustang fast. yea, it might cost a little more then a GM motor, but 5.0s are good *** motors, and if build'em right they can be plenty fast.
