mustang or camaro?

Any 1988 to 1994 stock Mustang 5.0 GT can beat any stock 1994-1996 Z28 Camaro. My dad has been working with Mustangs for a long time and he said the 5.0's are faster then people realize. The Mustangs weight much less then Camaro's.

How can you beg to differ? Check the stats on the 5.0 GT then the stats on the older Z28's. It does also depend on the driver. But in all sense the Mustang is faster.

I beg to differ I have beat a few with a v6 sunbird (at the track) they run mid to high 14's stock
I would say the camaros are faster stock to stock my friend had a 5.0 mustang and sold it and bought a 94 Z28 he says it would smoke his stang.

right now my stang has the rebuilt 302 motor, cai, flowmaster exhaust,and a new clutch.My 94z has a cai,ported maf sensor,mallory ignition and can tell u right now that my camaro will kill that stang.

Kyle, just thought I'd point this out, in that CarDomain that you've got the 1997 3800 Camaro in, that car isn't an RS. And I'm going to assume you bought the car used, and the previous owner put the 93-96 salad shooters on.
