and the death rate was sky high (the iroc series didn't really start until the 70's though the trans am series used stock camaros for a couple years until they had to skin the race chassis)

agreed back in the day they used to race on road courses
have drivers from every series....

now its mainly NAscar drivers lame ***

they have every series represented, just most can't compete (Al Unser Jr was the last non nascar champ I think) and as for road courses they are running the same tracks as they have your whole life (you guys are all thinking trans am that is a totally different series, that now is owned by one of the drivers, and they can't compete even on the road courses with the nascar guys they keep trying and failing)
