New Car

Talking to the wife I might wait until winter. If gas prices continue to go up and if it's snowing out I can get a better deal. Plus we'll have more money right now to put into a house once we buy one.

i just read all these pages and found out that you sold the Camaro...im sad now, but as long as you can do the same to this corvette it wont matter, lol Well at least it went to somebody that people on here know, and somebody that you were looking forward to as in interest.

Well he hasn't picked the car up, that'll probably be next week or so. I'm still waiting on the DMV to mail me the stupid title so I can sign it over to him at this point.
Trust me I have a lot of plans for the Corvette already, I've already been doing a ton of research online and am realizing this is not going to be cheap.

Well I really don't care about making more HP, I am more intrested in making a nice cruiser.
I will throw on a catback and intake right away but I don't have any plans to make any big changes. I really don't want to lose the drivability of the car so down the line I would like to throw on either a kenne bell or magnacharger blower on it but that would be quite a ways down the road.
I first want to concenrate on making it great for cruising so some nice wheels, C6 Z06 brakes, a nice hood, tinted windows, redo the seats like I did with the Camaro, etc...

Here's the exhaust I think I'll go with. It should sound good and be loud enough with the stock manifolds and cats. Best part is I won't have to worry about ground clearance and emissions like I do with my Camaro.

Along with this:

With this intake(according to all the Corvette forums it's the best)

Then I'll move on to exterior and interior upgrades.

Exactly, the Corvette will problem come next spring. My wife is getting excited about buying one too so that's great. She's been bringing it up more than I have.
The Camaro is officially gone, I no longer own it or have it in my garage. I can't believe how hard that was to do but it was for the best. I have more money to set aside (all the profits from the car are going into savings) plus I will be able to buy the Corvette I have wanted so bad for so long. It has been my dream car ever since I was a little kid, much more so than the Camaro ever was honestly.
