What do they check on the car in order for it to pass safety?

Everything from the E-brake, brakes, lights, horn, seat belts, all doors must open/close, lights, daytime running lights(not fogs), Glass, any holes in the floor. Suspension is good and tight etc.............

Gauges, all proper electronics.. like defrost, heater blower fan...
