Funny thing is the hooker cat back on the LT1 is actually a very quiet cat back with a mellow sound, I have no idea why this LS1 sounds so raspy.

its real hard to have a non raspy f-body, thats just how they are, they're real cackly. b&b is the only exhaust i've heard that is smooth on an f-body, but once you take the cats off it loses its smoothness and gets that sound to it. i mean, call it raspy if u want but i love the way my exhaust barks when i jump on it. w/o cats it sounded kinda ratty and high pitched but now its deep and rumbly if ya know what i mean
