I'll admit... I let out a muffled giggle when I read "you'll find discount tire to be quite an exquisite tire company".

Enough of this crap, go buy some Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals.

Im not a tool... most of the time. Im just being honest.

And about the Sumitomos, you are really taking out of context the way we are saying they are good tires.

The V6 cars you're talking about ran consistent with their V8 counterparts. [shrug]

-_- Are any of you listening to what we are saying? This has NOTHING to do with performance. Its about how the tire is in general. Besides, my car is near the stock horsepower of a v8 :P

phate, i can understand that maybe we're thinking differently about "good" tires, but for a "performance" tire, you cant get worse than a sumitomo, thats where im leaving it.

Torque dog, if you have a problem with me, my knowledge, my character or anything else you feel obligated to poke fun at like an immature *******, PM me about it and we can settle it. if you wanna act like your younger than me, no one is stopping you but you really look like an idiot coming on an f-body website and then calling out people who are obviously more stupid and less intelligent than yourself there is constant ball busting and immaturity on this site, however it is always all in good fun among people who do truley respect one another when all the BS is put aside. if you cant do the same, leave.

Nothing im saying is meant to be taken personally. Im not bashing YOU, im just giving my oppinion on the conversation, as always. I respect everyone on this site, and all fbody enthusiasts for that matter. And I believe people know that.

And I think Torque is just giving you a hard time I mean cmon, hes only 21, and im only 22. My 'experience' over yours is quite limited, if at all. None of us claim to be car gurus, hence why we are on this site in the first place.

You basically said my thoughts exactly.

69z-28, I'm busting your *****, relax. Who's calling out who? I thought we were all here to learn off each other. I'm not just pulling facts out of my *** either, y'know.

Now respect your damn elders already.

Yeah IM listening... Matt said his friend with an SS bought them to do burnouts. I highly doubt youre turning over tires with as much power as SS LS1.

End of story. Now cut this tea party short and get along or comes into play.

matt you've worked at a tire place for, what? a few months now. your opinion doesnt count. hell, ive been in it for over a year and mine hardly does.

as for sumis, i plan on getting 9.5 ZR1s with sumi HTR Zs for the street then a pair of 11s with some slicks on them for the track.

see what sumitomo is good for? all weather street driving. thats what theyre talking about by "good".

caleb, no offense but sometimes i wonder about you....lol.ive worked there for half a year and have been into cars since i was old enough to be in the garage. considering the things ive been through with cars and who i know, i think theres a little more claut in that then having a few years on me.no offense to anyone but for me, this is a place to hangout and chill, if i want tech advice ill stick to asking people whove done what i want to or figure it out myself. there are few people on here i would consider asking for advice from. frankly i think theres wayyyyy too much bashing on here about peoples cars and oppinions. if you think something should be different, constructive critisism works, flaming doesnt. and because someone is a different age, that's no reason to give them ****. when people treat younger kids at school like **** because they can, i think it's BS and youll get whats coming. thats all im saying, if anyone has a problem it should be kept to PMs. this thread is on the brink of being locked so lets be all grown up here and get back on topic. tire selection.
