he makes a good point tho. a lot of imports are fast just cause they weigh so little and have maybe 300 horsepower with a turbo and they run mid 13's. If you can lighten up a hihg horsepower car with just small stupid things it can make a pretty big difference.

it all depends on what you want from the car, me personaly it's not worth the extra noise you'll get, that's why I have my cutlass in MI (if I ever get a new engine in it) it has a drivers seat, a passengers seat can be bolted in for street duty, no carpet, an aluminum dash, a custom steering column and no door panels, but it went (notice the past tense) pretty quick (never got a recorded time before eating a valve)

Thats cool! I bought it originally to use it as a DD/show car... then I started getting into dragging it... I had another car I was going to drag but this one just has so much potential, I couldnt pass it up!

A nice lopey cam will get you noticed even more...trust me- esp with wide open exhaust.
So many old people turned around expecting to see an older car..it was fun to see the surprised look on their faces to see a 4th gen!!
