i really really dont think you should sell your '67 for a newer one man. I mean maybe its just cause i have an old one that i like them better. If u want a newer one jus buy a cheap 6cyl. one and swap it out for a v8. But trust me dont sell your '67.

Regardless of the vehicle that will not change the fact a fuel injected engine has better road manners and gets better MPG.

You could build you a hefty little small block that would whip all over a LS1 for way way less then cost to buy a new camaro. Plus 1st gens look way better when there done right.

it all depends on what he wants the car to do.....does he really care about road manners or does he just want to be fast....as far as gas mileage, yes fuel injection.....but as far as power and throttle response.....also the drastic price difference......carb wins.

i agree on this one. fuel injection is nice, but if you know how to build a good older motor with a carb and regular simple ignition, non computer controlled...you can really make a ton of power for not much money, and to be honest, the sound of an older motor with a carb and big *** pistons and heads and good compression sounds alot better than a LM or flowmaster on a new FI v8 no matter what kinda engine it is. just personal preference i guess.
