87 for me. says so in the owners manual.

if i use 94 it makes my car run like ***...some cars just arent designed to run higher octanes.

Altho my old stealth ran 94, id get little knock at 91.

Just wondering, what do mothballs do? (other than keep away moths)

I use ultra 94 as a base only the ones i have are a hydrocarbon made of naphthalene, its like a fuel additive, it increases the octane slightly. BUT it will sludge up/plug your gas tank, injectors, jets horribly, so every few months I drop the tank and switch my jets/tank with my standby unit. I do this and repeat after cleaned. Since mixing m own fuel I also add a lead subsitute with other alkyl radicals using trimethyl pentane.
If your are ever going to do this even to try it out with mothballs or anything else MAKE SURE it does not contain Paradichlorobenzene or any part of, as that is extremly dangerous, deadly and oh yeah toxic too.
I or GTCARS.CA hold no responsibility whatsoever for anything that you do yourself or with others. We reccomend that you do not try this; and by reading this post or previous posts made by I in entirety or any part you forfeit any liabilty you had on us and cannot be held responsibile in any way shape or form.

There is no use for mothballs using regular pump gas... it will actually lower your octane if you use them. as "back in the day" octane ratings only used to be 50-60. Mothballs have a naphthalene octane rating of 90, so back in the day it would increase it. With all the technology in fuels and induction ratios adding mothballs are a waste of time and will hurt the performance of your vehicle.
With Ultra 94 and Mothballs(90 octane) using the theory with density difference in octane response you are lowering the octane to 91/92.

Mixing fuels is extremly dangerous dont do it unless your know what your doing.

Or you can just use Xlyene with a lubricant and not worry about plugging up everything....Or toulene I think it is which doesn't need the lubricant.

And get better results.
Or just buy race gas.
