Hello, name's David, nice to meet everyone. I just purchased a 2007 Foose Stallion and i love it. Never had a muscle car before, i actually traded a very nicely tuned 350 z in for the stang, and prior to that i was in and out of foreign cars and trucks. But i am pleased with my new car, though it will take a while and some good mods to have it handle half as good as the 350.(i kinda' miss that).
Anyway...quick question for the ones who know....i know a lot of people do the 4.10 gears mostly N/A or 3.73 boosted, but what do you guys think about the 4.56 gears on N/A? How much speed off the top end do you give up on 4.56s as opposed to 4.10s? Is there any other downside to high gears?

Welcome to the board mate.Please post some pics if you get the chance.Sorry can't help with the gears i went with the auto.But i do know the majority of owners go with the 4.10 gears. John Pony

Most people go with the 410,if your going higher then that I would look into a 6 spd to knock down the rpms on the hwy..Welcome to the club.

Welcome to the board! Unless you're going to drag the car alot and drive it only on weekends, stick with the 4.10s. That seems to be the most popular gear for the S197.

Thanks for the info so far, it sounds like what i thought. No pictures yet, i took my car to Vegas the day i bought it and i left it there, now I'm back in Scottsdale, I'll move to Vegas in about a week, so pics. will take a wile. Anyway, does anybody know a good trustworthy Mustang shop in Vegas? Thanks.
