Whats Up All?
Whats Up All?
Hey everyone! I'm new to this site. I'm 17 and from Appleton, WI. I have a white '96 Camaro with T-Tops, that I got last NewYears Eve (my first car). I've put on a few mods and some custom stuff that I've made. But I'm always looking for new stuff to do, and thats how I found this site. I'm hoping someone will give me some tips on what to do to make it cooler, and give me some pointers on what you all like and dont. I want to be able to enter it into some sort of car show by this comming summer (that is if I can make it through this winter). Yes I do drive my camaro all year long, even in the snow
Here are some pics of my car http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2063517 they are older but still gives the general idea of it. I also have a list of current mods on there as well. I'm looking for some of the tuner look but still want to keep it good old american muscle.
Dustin

Hehe I dont have nitrous, its my Bazooka tube
it's designed to look like a nitrous tank. Your not the first person to think it is real, lol. I just hope the cops dont fall for it too.

paarman97maro: where did you get your K&N air intake? And did you notice any better performace with it on? Also where did you get your exhaust setup? It looks really good. I want to get dual exhaust but havent been able to find one for a reasonable price.
Thanks,
Dustin

Welcome to the family! Your ride has a lot of potential. I'd axe the NOS sticker for sure. The bass tube thing is cute but i can't imagine it sounds all the great - probably sold you on the looks, not the performance. A "real" system would be more impressive. I kinda dig the wheels if it wasnt for the saw blade thing in the middle. And seriously, toss the RS emblems. Its not an RS. But the car looks very clean and the engine compartment very nicly done.
I'll probably be getting rid of the NOS stickers, but I'm gonna keep the RS decals, as it makes it not as plain. I havent really gotten the bazooka tube hooked up yet but they arent cheap ($300) so it better sound good. Any ideas on what to do next??? I got the front and back of my LED kit installed today, but I'm gonna wait till the summer to do the sides so they dont get ripped off in the snow.

My suggestions are to ditch the NOS decal as well, maybe switch the rims- what size tires are those? or are there wheel spacers on there?
Welcome!
Welcome! Nice Camaro you got there
My bird is white also. Glad you found us. Any questions you may have ask away, someone around here is bound to know the answer.
man, i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I THINK your heading in the wrong directions with this car. LED kits? Bazooka tubes that cost $300? That is a cheap stereo man. My subwoofer alone was $450, the box was $150. And about the RS stuff, you'll just get yelled at for claiming your car is an RS when it's not. It's kind of like throwing a Type R sticker on your Civic when it's not, are you following me?
agreed w/ ta4u2nv. sounds like yr. goin to much tuner on tht car. you can still save it .. lol, can you say PREFORMANCE . Buy a few things for yr. car that'll hlep it out preformance wise, or i guess.. if thts not wht u want to do, then go for looks, just dont mke it a tuner.
