I inherited this car from my sister who passed away last year. The car has 26,000 miles on it. The radio and a/c work but the display has gone dark and the cd player only plays 1/2 of a cd then quits. Also the paint on the roof is eroding. A friend suggested the clearcoat is wearing away exposing a bad paint job. I have no warranty info on the car...wasn't included in the paperwork I received from the attorney who handled her estate. Can anyone tell me about these issues and give me some advice?

i cant tell you much about the CD player but i have a 2003 also. not sure what colour yours is? but mines a silver one like yours the paint flaked off the roof. i took it to my local body shop they redone the roof. for 250.00 dollars this involved sanding it down to bare metal and re priming it then paint and clear coat since then it has never done it again.
