I have some small ideas. Use light weight pulleys so it can free up a few horses. Get manifold and throttle body spacers to reduce heat. Get lightweight wheels to reduce unsprung weight. Use a lighter flywheel to rev faster. Get aftermarket headers, if you can.

if you really plan to go turbo the upgrades that i can recommend right now would be: upgrade brake system, suspension coilovers, get sports tires for better grip, and a good piggyback system.. because you can also use it in the future for your turbo..

Aftermarket support is not too good for your engine
and it's heavy, the best advice I can give you is, buy all the bolt-ons you can, exhaust etc, but you won't be able to keep up until you get a turbo.
Your problem is, lack of aftermarket, and it's too heavy,
suspension is built more for commuting, and too much drag
