I was given a 1995 Honda Accord LX with a 2.7L V6. The car has about 156,000 miles on it, and routine maintenance was performed at 60,000 miles. The owner said he got the oil changed when necessary, so I do not know how often he took care of it.The engine of this car is loud. It almost sounds like a diesel when revving. At idle, the car is very quiet. I had a 4 cylinder 97 Nissan Altima, and this Accord is much louder than that.I'm just wondering if it is supposed to be loud, or if there could be a problematic issue involved. Was this car known for this? Thank you.I just uploaded a video to youtube of the noise. It may take a little bit for the site to register it as I just did this a second ago.
