Is there an after-market suspension system that would allow me to lower my car and

give a better ride? I have a 2006 Honda Accord. Accords are notorious for having a relatively rough ride. I have a 6spd MT, which means that the wheels in that package are 17 inches with low-profile tires (I know that contributes to the rough ride).

There are two things that bother me:

1) The rough ride

2) The massive gap between the wheel and the fender

Is there a suspension setup that I can purchase to close up that gap without making the ride rougher than it already is?

I want the car to look aggressive without looking 'ricey'.

@ C7S:

Well, the Accord isn't as good at dampening the smaller bumps on the road as a Mercedes-Benz or BMW. There's a noticeable difference. My Accord definitely smoother than a truck (but sometimes that's debatable).

Eibach Springs and upgrade the struts with ones that are designed to be lowerd if you want to be picky you have to spend a few bucks but its worth it , try Tokicho or however you spell it.. and dont go to low just enough to take out the gap between the fender and tire just a half inch or so lower in the front then the rear will help get that agressive stance your looking for.

Try contacting www.ridetech.com. They do air ride suspension struts for Hondas. This gives the best compromise for adjustability/ride quality. Admittedly this is not the cheap option but is an excellent set-up.

As you already know low profile tires will always contribute to a firmer ride.

Hope this helps!
