I am a fan of both cars.Which the Honda Civic is well known. The mazda's are good cars but, higher on parts than a civic and the civic has better resale than the mazda.

In my opinion, the Honda would be the better car. Resale value-wise down the road as well as maintenance-wise. Another way to put it is, though Mazda is essentially a Japanese brand auto maker just like Honda, Mazda is owned by Ford Motor Corp., which pretty much should tell you where most if not all the parts in their cars come from. Although I have nothing against FoMoCo, I can say that based on personal experience, I would never buy anything Mazda again (except maybe an RX7 FD R1)....but it all comes down to YOUR decision on what you want to purchase.

if you're looking for fuel efficiency, talk to your local distributor and compare their distance covered per gallon or in liters(usually they call it mpg or kpg, miles per gallon or kilometers per gallong respectively). the higher the the distance travelled per unit volume, the more efficient the car is.actually when it comes to repairs, they normally have the same price. since most of the parts are just the same with the other models around, it just now depends on where you will buy the parts and on what shop will you bring it. if you're not sure where to bring it, talk to a trusted mechanic or to the car dealerwhen it comes to style, mazda 3 is sporty while civic is somewhat savvy, chick magnet...heheif you're looking on some great cars and at the same time does not cost too much, go to a surplus. usually some surplus offers cars that are still in good shape. mazda 3 and civic are expensive since they are still considered to be new....

Ok well I sold Hondas for 6 + years and the Honda is far by a better choice!!!! You can also compare any vehicle you want to the Civic at www.hondacars.com The reason why a honda is better is because they are very reliable and they hold there value! Another good tip is to get the best deal when you figure out what car you want is to go on the internet and get a quote.. They always price the lowest that way. If the honda is what you want you can get a quote from the same website I listed!!Good luck with your purchase!!!
