where is the thermostat in a 1990 honda accord coupe?
or do you know a website that would have a picture showing where it would be at.i already checked the top hose from the radiator to the engine and i didnt find a thermostat. infact, it didnt look like it would even house one.

There's a hose where your radiator is located. The one on top, follow from the radiator to the engine. At the end of that hose, is a part with 2 bolts mounting itself to the engine. The thermostat is located inside. If you plan to be a DIY, i'd invest on a service manual.
