Why is my Clutch Peddle to hard On my 2001 Accord 4cyl?

I have 2001 Accord 4 cyl stick shift. It's only 83000 Mile on it. Problem started few day ago applying Clutch peddle is to hard and it kicks back as u apply. I taught it is a problem with my Clutch plate but it climbing hills in lower rpm. I have no idea what to do. Adding to it this i feel in lower gears it is slow in acceleration.

the clutch pedal is hard because of two possibilities , one -your slave cylinder is about to lock up( hydraulic lock) or your pressure plate springs are ruined from excessive heat which made the ( spring) dead so now they wont compress when you push the pedal in, try bleeding the clutch cylinder first( looks like the brake master cylinder resivour, if you do not know how to do this ( take it to a shop ) as you could loose all the needed pressure in the system if you open the line and do not close it right, there may be air in the system which would cause the stiff pedal , to bleed the system it takes two people, one in the car to push the pedal to the floor and hold it while the other person opens the bleeder valve or lossens the line ( while pedal is still held to the floor,) after the line/bleeder valve is opened and air or a little oil squirts out - then close the line/bleeder valve, this is how you bleed it, if that does not work and you still have a hard pedal- the clutch plate( pressure plate) is shot, when replacing the clutch replace the disc/plate and throw out bearing, the loss of power is because the clutch is too tight from being worn out( the springs on the pressure plate)

As the clutch disc wears. the amount of pressure to release the clutch increases. I've had the problem many times and the solution it to replace the clutch disc and pressure plate. While you're at it, you will need to get the flywheel resurfaced.
