1998-2001 Gsr
Looking on buying a GSR
What feedback could you guys bring up on this car? Is it reliable, What should I look out for ect.
I looked at a 1998 GSR a couple of days ago and it has 130 000km. Good or Bad? How long do these last?
Feel free to bring as much neg/pos feedback on Integra
Thanks

tegs are good, a little heavier than average, and since there heavier there a little slow, if you read kill stories my friend civtegra90 beat one with his civic LS convertion by 2 car legths.
over all still a nice car but not all it is built up to be

gsr's are nice.. but are prone to being stolen and its hard to find out that hasn't been beaten on.
They are nice cars though. Make sure its good mechanically though.. some parts are going to be more expensive than lets say a civic..

Integra's are great cars. First off, since it's an Acura you know it won't break down. I have an Acura EL with 150,000k and it's been strong since day 1. 130k on a 98 is about average. That car is 8 years old so it works out to about 16000km a year of driving.
Just make sure you get all the records for the car, check out it's history, and have a mechanic look over it.
Also, the gsr engine in the integra is a very good engine with tons of potential for modding, if your into that whole thing. You can easily be in the 300hp range.
The only words of caution I have are, like was already said, this car is prone to being stolen. As a result your insurance might be shitty, so find out about that as well.
Oh and don't mind what stealthz says, he drives a cavalier.

How am I making fun of your car. Im throwing in my opinion about how I would rather prefer an Import over anything else. My cavalier just had way to many problems and now I consider it a POS! All the luck wit your ride.
I noticed a could of you have said the only caution about the GSR is it prone to be stolen. The first thing I am looking into is already buying an alarm one that pages you already. I already had a problem with my previous car which someone broke into and stole , so Im investing in an alarm which my next car should last me for a couple of years i hope.
