the intake manifold and catalytic converter are two separate pieces on EVERY car.
the manifold connects to the cat converter, which filters the exhaust gases, sends them into the exhaust pipe and out the rear of the car, but they are two different pieces.
that's like if i ask you:"my tires and my rims, two separate pieces or one?"
