B16a Tranny

The tranmission is usually optional in most cases. The only way i would confirm is finding a wrtie up on lsd vs. non-lsd transmission. I rember seeing it around .. maybe honda-tech. Even if i am wrong it that it is optional this will be good information for you to confirm that it is LSD.

I know with L3 series (d-series transmissions) they have a black marking on the transmission case just infront of the transmission mount. It is fairly big, but can sometimes be hard to see with the transmissions being as old as they are. I beleive B-series transmissions have the same marking in place. I would check with tiger japanese for a b16 cable lsd transmission as they advertise them on there website. I have also heard that there is a way of confirming its an lsd is to look through the transmission final drive. If there is a pin then you have a standard open differential where is if you can see right through it you have yourself an lsd transmission. I hope this helps!
